VIENNA AMERICAN MAJORS BASEBALL CROWNED STATE CHAMPS

Dateline Richlands, VA

Vienna American Baseball Majors have won the state championship.  The team has now gone undefeated for three straight years culminating in their 3rd straight state championship.

The only time a game was even close was a 4-3 win in pool play against Loudon South, a traditionally tough league.  Once they got past that hurdle it was pretty much smooth sailing to the championship.

Congratulations!!

The team now heads to Warner-Robins Georgia to compete for the Southeast Region championship and a chance to go to Williamsport.  Very exciting stuff that the Vienna American kids have accomplished.
